Externally, I provide face to face customer service and help customers navigate their accounts and discuss concerns with them. I provide basic reference service and public computer help to a variety of customers with varying computer skills. I act as an acceptance agent for passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Dept of State.Internally, I prepare the daily schedules for the entire circulation department. I train new staff on shelving, public service, and library functions. I have been tasked with training new managers as well as entry level staff.

I contributed to staff performance reviews as well as participated in employee coaching for improvement. This position also included all duties required of the Circulation Assistant I as needed.
