My role was to project manage the end to end sourcing & supply chain of retail, licensed & promotional product for the Australian, New Zealand & Asian markets. My role was to manage air & sea freight exports from Australia to overseas markets and assist with clearance & delivery of imports into Australia. Key responsibilities included:• Managed clients transportation requirements • Negotiated with shipping lines and airlines to ensure cost effective & timely delivery of shipments to market• Ensured shipping documentation was correct and provided to customs broker & overseas agents promptly for clearance • Prepared quotes for current and prospective clients• Coordinated packing of containers at our onsite customs controlled warehouse and storage facility
