Leading a team designing and building a full service digital bank (neobank) in South Africa. TymeBank was a subsidiary of CommBank Australia. Sold by CommBank in November 2018, TymeBank launched February 2019 securing 600,000 customers within 6 months. As part of the TymeBank Executive Committee my job was to translate the customer value proposition, through customer centric design and Agile development practices, into features and functions which customers love and deliver business outcomes within risk appetite. My team included; Payments, Decision Sciences, Products (Transactions and Lending), Innovation and Digital Channels.

Leading and managing a team executing Commonwealth Banks digital banking strategy across South Africa, China, Indonesia, Vietnam and India. Broadly this involved the establishment of an innovative, digital approach to meeting the financial services needs of our bank customers in the aforementioned countries.Highlights:- TymeBank business in South Africa, develop the bank strategy and obtain a banking licence- Launch a mobile led digital banking business from Singapore which designed and developed a portfolio of products for small business customers in Indonesia and Vietnam. This included the launch of three key products attracting over 50,000 new customers to the businesses.- Designing and developing a Smart Point of Sale solution in under 6 months for the Indian market. CBA decided to withdraw from the market prior to launch.

Leading and managing a team in developing and executing IFS strategy across China, Indonesia, Vietnam and India. Broadly this involves strategic planning (Board and ExCo papers, business case development, research and investigations) and ownership of key projects in country and across borders.

Tribe was a start-up online entertainment business. It grew from 15 staff in Sydney to 150 staff worldwide within 18 months utilising VC funding from Diageo and JP Morgan.
