Play a key role on the senior leadership team and am responsible for ONCAT’s information technology (IT), data services and public-facing transfer services (website ONTransfer.ca) for the organization. I strive to ensure that ONTransfer.ca delivers optimal user experience for assessing academic pathways and credit equivalencies. I am responsible for providing leadership for the coordination and management of transfer and articulation data provided by postsecondary institutions. This includes ongoing monitoring and improvement of the data collected to ensure that ONTransfer.ca is efficient and effective users and for developing data analytics to support institutions and government and Board of Directors’ reporting requirements.. Lastly, I am responsible for all information technology related functions of the organization, including services rendered by third party vendors, IT policy development, purchases and best practices within ONCAT.

The Transfer and Technology Director assumes responsibility for providing senior leadership in support of leading system coordination for ONCAT’s mandate and strategic priorities under direction of Executive Director. Specific responsibilities include providing leadership for redevelopment, relaunch and continuous improvement of ONCAT’s student-facing website (ONTransfer.ca) and support enhanced capacity and process efficiencies across Ontario’s postsecondary education institutions related to transfer and student mobility.

During the search for a new Executive Director, ONCAT's Board of Directors delegated the Executive Director's responsibilities between the two incumbent Director positions. Sector engagement and research were added to Transfer and Technology Director while grants and government relations, were shifted to my interim Co-Lead, the Operations Director. Responsibility for Co-Lead, Interim Executive Director (Sector Engagement/Research) include two additional direct reports along with responsibilities to continue work on ONCAT's strategic priorities and Ministry of Colleges and Universities transfer and mobility objectives.

Responsible for ensuring that applicants applying for Admission to York are assessed, informed and supported through their transition to the University from other institutions or changes in life circumstances. This position plays a key role in the smooth transition of a student (undergraduate or graduate) to the University and manages the day-to-day operation and teams involved in transfer credit evaluation and transition issues across the University.

Liaises with internal and external offices on matters related to admissions and transfer credit requirements for both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Manages special projects to develop policies and procedures to improve work processes and coordinates work schedules for the Transfer Credit and Graduate Admissions Assessment units.

Oversee daily operations of Faculty of Health Student Services area including direct supervision of six unionized employees.Core team member of pilot project to create enrolment appointment online via a designed & tested experience.

Coordinates, advises and supports curriculum and academic standards processes for the Faculty of Health including maintenance of academic course repository. Position supports two Faculty committees (Curriculum and Academic Standards) through the writing/editing of academic proposals, ensuring adherence to Senate legislation and by setting agenda, taking and transcribing minutes.Part of the team that manages office communication to the Faculty undergraduate student body of over 10,000 students. Oversees work-study students for office with direct responsibility for hiring, payroll, setting work schedules, and preparing training materials.

Creating and maintaining various reports, manuals, and statistics for the Office of the Registrar and university faculties via access to student information system in production (PROD) and quality insurance (QA) environments.Actively involved in the creation and diagnostics of ongoing system projects including: new program creation, student program changes, course maintenance, course access debugging.Scheduled the university academic offerings for graduate and undergraduate programs for the Fall/Winter 2009-2010 academic year.

Performing course and scheduling tasks for various university units including: Creating reports, monitoring course access specifications, enrolment issues, curriculum maintenance and course mounting for multiple faculties. Creating and maintaining room reports for distribution per the request of university units across campus. Mounting and solving scheduling issues with course and ad-hoc requests for a given academic term and/or calendar year.

Various administrative roles supporting academic programs including front line costumer service.
