Hello, my name is Andrew Legg and I am a Master of Business Administration candidate at West Virginia University. I am currently the Strategy and External Relations Graduate Assistant in the Center for Career Development in the John Chambers College of Business and Economics. In May of 2023, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Chamber’s College of Business and Economics at WVU. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I served for one year as the President of Delta Sigma Pi, WVU's largest Professional Fraternity, worked as a Neidermeyer Scholar Tutor for Accounting 201 in the Academic Engagement and Success Center, and served as a Chambers College Peer Mentor for one semester.Through the various organizations I have been involved in and positions I have held I have developed my leadership, management and communication skills. The courses I have taken at WVU have given me a deep knowledge of the business environment within the state of West Virginia and beyond as well as opportunities and potential areas of improvement within the state. After I graduate I plan to put the knowledge and skills I have gained to use in West Virginia in order to drive the economic development of the state. I plan to find effective ways to market and advertise the already-existing companies and initiatives aimed at improving the state as well as coming up with new ideas of my own.
