Working in partnership with our President & CEO, I support implementation of the organization's strategic vision through best-in-class experiences, learning opportunities and conservation programs. I serve as the senior executive responsible for the Animal Care & Health, Learning, Conservation, Creative Services, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, and Guest Experience departments. In addition, I work to support fundraising, government relations and financial stewardship.I work closely with our CEO and Board to ensure we are meeting annual goals, increasing our overall impact and living our vision. Serving as staff liaison for Board Committees, I help incorporate insights and feedback into our strategic plans and support them in being advocates for our mission.

I led an integrated team of professionals with key disciplines in Marketing, Public Relations, Guest Services, Membership and Sales. From 2010 to 2017, we helped drive 20% growth in revenue. I led the development of a weekly marketing analytics platform and oversaw the selection and integration of a new ticketing point-of-sale platform to enhance our data analytics. We utilized this data-driven approach to build products and communications that delivered our brand promise and served the mission.I built strong relationships throughout the organization and co-led a cross-functional exhibits development team. Working with exhibit design, conservation, facilities and husbandry professionals, we developed the long-term strategic exhibit plan and oversaw the implementation of each major exhibit.I also served as a spokesman for the organization and as emcee for the annual fundraising gala. I supported the organization's Government Relations efforts, regularly meeting with Congressional leaders to secure ongoing support from the federal government. Previously, I have managed the Exhibits and Development teams.

Helped shape the strategic planning process for one of the top aquariums in the country, serving on the senior leadership team with responsibility for marketing plan development, department management and creative development.

Working as an outside consultant, I oversaw the management of Mystic Aquarium's marketing personnel, creative development and media planning.

Becoming an equity partner allowed me to fully understand financial management, business planning, human resources, and quality control.

My leadership grew at Bernie Robbins as I worked with company ownership to shape the brand. I worked with Purchasing and store management to develop comprehensive marketing plans. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, I had direct engagement in business strategic planning.

In order to expand my skill set, I decided to leave the agency world and gain direct client experience. That transition captured my passion for tourism by serving as the Director of Advertising for Philadelphia tourism. This also gave me my first experience in the non-profit space.

I rounded out my agency experience working with clients including Virtua Health System and Hatfield Quality Meats. I was also selected for a leadership development program with senior agency executives.

My client management skills expanded even more at Gillespie, working with The Port Authority of NY & NJ, DuPont, and Kennedy Health System.

Moving to SFGT, I expanded my account planning and management skills working with Herr Foods, Inc. and Vanguard Investments.

I began my career at the top advertising agency in Philadelphia. As New Business Development Assistant, I supported the agency's business development team in prospect research, RFP response and presentation preparation then I supported national advertising campaigns for Dollar Rent A Car, including weekly consumer response analysis.

I gained entry into the marketing world serving as a public relations intern for clients including MidLantic Bank and Orleans Homebuilders.
