As a talent and recruitment leader, I am passionate about ensuring a personal connection using a consultative approach with client leadership teams, creating and driving strategic staffing models to achieve short- and long-term goals, including changing a company’s organizational culture and offering personalized structured training programs, if desired.My experience in the human capital industry began in healthcare, sourcing and working with over 15,000 medical providers in my home state of Oregon. Since then I have served as Senior Account Manager for Oxford and Associates out of Silicon Valley, CA; as a Senior Technical Recruiter for Tandem Recruiting; as a Senior Corporate Recruiter for Accero; and as a Business Development Manager for Ajilon Professional Staffing.In 2012, as the Director, Engineering Division for VanderHouwen, I created policies and strategies from scratch. By establishing core skills (mechanical, electrical, embedded software) and implementing proactive recruitment pipelines, the results speak for themselves:• Internally, grew the division from 1 to 6 staff members, surpassing growth staff and revenue goals by 120%.• We won a $1.5MM RFP and while working with the client’s executive leadership team, my efforts added 19 FTEs within two months of the start date.By 2018, the Regional Manager (Direct Hire) for the West Coast and Central Regions for Aquent & Vitamin T was created. I inspired nine staff members across 12 U.S. markets covering three (3) regions. All trained to use a consultative sales and fee negotiation training tool I developed for recruiting and account teams. Profits rose more than $1MM with the year as fill percentage grew 5% over expectations.My BS in Microbiology and Chemistry was earned at the Oregon State University and I am a founding member of the Portland Opera’s Ambassador Board. I can be found enjoying the outdoors with my wife, playing golf, or the Arts and Music Culture in the Denver Metro Area.
