The Surf Club is one of largest clubs in Trinity College, renowned for its surf trips and social events. I was a lead organiser of a surfing music festival in the west of Ireland, which gave over 250 Trinity students the chance to take part in hikes, yoga sessions and surf classes. Trinity's leading musicians performed throughout two evenings of entertainment.I organised the music and entertainment for two more trips throughout the year, one of which was our international trip to the Canary islands. Both trips were attended by 80 students respectively. Lastly, the surf club runs a number of social events in Dublin in order to raise funds for the aforementioned trips. The social events ranged from nights out in local Dublin venues, to follow up gatherings showcasing photography from our trips, to a surf ball organised at the end of the year. My active participation in the surf club gave me great experience in running various types of events. From organising events I was able to work with businesses throughout Ireland, as well as other societies and clubs in Trinity College. I also learnt a great deal about the promotion and retailing of events, whether that be online or through more traditional processes.

Worked in a fast-paced pizzeria. The role allowed me to further my skills of customer service both from customers ordering within the store and over the telephone. I enjoyed the experience of working for a business in the food industry and learnt a lot about the service and provision of food.

My role in the society was to keep past members of the society who had left college involved with the society, particularly with trips and events being organised throughout the year.

I was a leading committee member, which involved the organising of a trip to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris two years in a row and a trip to the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival in England.

Worked with thoroughbred yearling racehorses. I was apart of a team that over the course of 4 months prepared yearlings for various sales in Ireland, England and France.

Promoted events for Heinz, Coca-Cola, Diageo and the Musgrave Group. Managed events and worked as part of a team in a client focused environment. Performed multiple leadership roles within the company which included leading events, having responsibility for stock and transporting products around the country.

Part time bartender. Involved in bar maintenance and bar closure.
