Untitled is a cloud based software as a service (SaaS) company that provides a data centralization and analyticssolution, primarily to ecommerce companies.When I started, the company was primarily a software/data engineering consulting company. I lead the technology transition from consulting to a product based SaaS company by mentoring the team in software and data engineering best practices and building a software toolkit that the engineering team could use to build client solutions which eventually matured into a SaaS platform where we could build various client facing applications. The nature of the product required a very secure, scalable and robust environment that can be centrally managed and maintained. This was accomplished by taking advantage of many of the event driven and serverless services offered by AWS and developing an architecture that created client accounts in such a way that each one of our clients had their own AWS account. Main project was to look merge US census and labor data to see if the corridor between Louisville and Lexington Kentucky has the human capital available to support different types of industry. This project used a PostgreSQL database to load the US Census data which could then be queried in various ways to get information about the populations in specific counties along the I-65 corridor between Louisville and Lexington. In order to use the most up to date data, an imputation scheme had to be derived to examine specific county information.
