As a part of the M300 Accelerator, we I helping coordinate and accelerate progress on the World Bank Group's and the African Development Bank's (AfDB) M300 effort to bring electricity access to 300 million Africans by 2030. In collaboration with the Rockefeller Foundation, the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), the M300 Accelerator is supporting AfDB and World Bank efforts to secure energy compact signings with African governments and providing assistance through the new TA Facility, while laying the groundwork to scale assistance across all sub-Saharan African countries over the coming years.

Specialized in targeted business development for projects that are eligible for DFC financing in the global energy sector, water infrastructure sector, and the information, communications, and technology (ICT) sector. Managed multiple client and prospect relationships, while guiding developers through each of DFC’s extensive requirements, including those that are sector, financial product or structure specific.

Worked as a Development Specialist in the Office of the Chief Development Officer at DFC. Developed strategic guidance, conducted business development across all regions and sectors, and performed both advisory and administrative duties for senior leadership, primarily the Chief Development Officer, to increase investments and the tracking of development impact metrics in sectors such as energy, health, financial inclusion, food security, agriculture, technology, infrastructure, and water, sanitation, and hygiene in the world’s most underserved and underdeveloped markets, particularly on the African continent. Traveled with and provided both business development, diplomatic, and administrative support to senior level DFC, State Department, and USAID principals, including Ambassadors and senior members of the foreign service, at multiple international conferences and summits, as well as project site visits, private sector, public sector, and US Embassy meetings overseas. Official travel includes: Lomé, Togo and Cotonou, Benin to conduct meetings with local businesses, senior government ministers, and US embassy officials in October 2022; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Kampala, Uganda, and Bujumbura, Burundi to meet with local energy providers and businesses, local senior government officials, US embassy staff, visit DFC project sites, and attend the Tanzania Energy Forum in February 2023; London, UK for the Africa Investment Exchange Conference in April 2022; Marrakech, Morocco for the U.S. – Africa Business Summit in July 2022; Doha, Qatar to attend the UN’s 5th Least Developed Countries Conference in March 2023; and Nairobi, Kenya to attend the Africa Energy Forum in June 2023.
