I managed and maintained all video & audio post-production facilities, production studios, and equipment. I provide the knowledge base and post production workflows for all equipment, which includes SD, HD, & 4K acquisition, video editing & dubbing. I manage the troubleshooting and maintenance on ProTools suites for 7.1/5.1/2ch mixing and mastering, ADR vocal booths, and audio dubbing & capture. A large part of the role is researching, testing, and designing workflows for new technologies and equipment. For example, creating proposals for 4K/4.6K Cinema Cameras, Camcorders, and DSLRs, providing documentation for production and post, as well as providing technical support in adding colorgrading and correction to the department's facilities and curriculum. I successfully oversaw the inclusion of RAW & HDR Video to our workflows and am looking forward to campaigning for more VR/Stereoscopic/Spherical video, 8K aquisition, and introducing new colorspaces such as REC.2020 & the ACES workflow.I provide hands-on training and written documentation on workflow for: DCI4K/UHD acquisition, Digital Media Management, Digital NLE Video Editing, Color Correction and Grading, Conforming for Delivery: DCP, DVD/BD Disc Authoring, digital distribution, and Post-Production Sound using ProTools & ProTools HD.
