I am leading academic research activities of non-isothermal multiphase flows in porous media at Moscow State University. These activities include application of both analytic and computational methods. My scientific interests cover a range of issues from fundamental investigations of the transport equations for flows in a porous media to approaches for accelerated thermal and compositional reservoir simulations. I am also interested in development of new techniques for modelling underground carbon dioxide storage, geothermal energy production and gas-condensate fields exploration.I am developing the reservoir simulator MUFITS as an integrated result of the codes, which I designed to simulate various aspects of the flows in porous media. The permanent necessity in time-consuming design of a new code for every new problem I considered resulted in an activity related to development of the general purpose simulator MUFITS.
