I was responsible for the products and services portfolio related with electronic payment systems (global cash management and automated channels) as well as for the international business and Corporate Internet Banking.

As a Senior Marketing Manager I was responsible for the products and services portfolio setup for the Onshore Banking (domestic Private Banking offering), regarding the Assets & Wealth Management business strategy.

In this position I was responsible for the institutional marketing strategy implementation (brand awareness policy and relationship with investment banking press and specialized media) with additional commitment to provide and report management & internal control data to local Supervisory and Regulatory entities (Bank of Portugal and Financial Markets Authority).

During this period I worked for the Large Corporate Marketing Department, providing technical advisory to the Corporate branches network, regarding financial market analysis forecast and banking sector research.

I was appointed Executive Director of the Portuguese Marketing Association with responsibility for the international activities, focused on the relationship with EMC (European Marketing Confederation).Prior to my appointment, I lead the whole process of APPM integration inside EMC organization as a full member, managing the administrative efforts that has taken place in the respective General Assemblies (Helsinki 1995 and Budapest 1997). As a member of APPM I was also appointed to participate in the consultancy team responsible for the technical translation of the first International Encyclopaedia of Marketing (produced by NIMA The Netherlands Marketing Association), published by the EMC to standardize concepts and practices of marketing management, independently the particularities of each country.

As a Planning & Marketing Specialist of the Shell Gas Business Division, I managed the relationship with local Energy Regulator (Portuguese Market - Direcção-Geral de Energia) in the preparation and providing specialized data and information about building networks and infrastructure of piped gas at a national level, ensuring compliance of standards and legislation.
