I am a seasoned product leader and strategy executive, committed to helping improve people's lives and accelerating positive change in the world. I enjoy solving problems, analyzing customer needs and the business case, working with teams to prioritize and act, developing partnerships, and fostering talent.My career journey may seem unusual, as I moved from tech startups to the Peace Corps, to management consulting and then a political startup, to then being the product and business lead for a standalone app with millions of users at Capital One before shifting back to a fintech startup as their Chief Product Officer. But there are common themes. I love to learn. I love to mull over tricky problems and consider new approaches, whether it relates to a business model or a partnership structure or how to improve people’s lives in some meaningful way. I love incubating a new idea and helping it to grow and scale. And above all, I am incredibly passionate about teamwork and helping talented coworkers find their best role and path in life. My formal education has been at the University of Virginia (B.A., English / Math) and Carnegie Mellon University (MBA, MS in Public Policy & Management.) I live in Washington, DC where I enjoy exploring new bike trails and picnic areas with my family, and mobilizing my community in support of equal voting rights.
