1) Management Accounting • Preparing of management accounts o Preparation, presentation and interpretation of regular management accounts and related reports, KPI’s. o Comparison of actual performance with budget and/ or forecast, analysis and interpretation of variances. • Planning, budgeting and forecasting o Preparation in conjunction with line management of annual budgets and forecasts. o Working with other departments to develop corporate budgets and forecasts. • Product and service costing o Application of appropriate principles and techniques o Identification of costs and revenues relating to specific business decisions • Project appraisal o Post completion audit of projects and investments • Working capital management o Debt collection, inventory and expense commitment control, recording and forecasting foreign currency transactions, cash flow forecasting and monitoring. o Supply chain management 2) Sales, Business Analysis and Account Management • Overview o I was responsible for sales of R187,000,000 from June 2016 to July 2017 in the railway safety and control industry. o I managed to build a pipeline of new business for 2017 of R355,000,000. • Specific Responsibilities as the key account executive for South Africa: o Product and sales presentations at potential clients o Product and sales strategy o New business development throughout South Africa o Organization of our annual customer day. This involved me and our CEO presenting strategy and new products to customers. o Daily management sales team performance to ensure that the established targets and desired outcomes are achieved. o Implementation of Intranet and assisting with the change management process.
