The paper has won numerous national and regional awards.• Co-ordinate and edit sections of the weekly investigative newspaper for which the company has won numerous awards for journalistic excellence. • Co-ordinate and operate news desk as required• Supervise and appraise full-time and freelance reporters, photographers, paginators• Develop and execute revenue-generating supplements and features• Provide customer service support to clients, readers and other stakeholders• Co-ordinate company special projects

• Wrote articles as assigned on a freelance basis (special projects, then on news desk). Later joined the staff full-time as subeditor. Responsibilities included researching and editing articles submitted by reporters and public relations agencies, designing and proof-reading pages.
