I focus on the problem of using electronic health records for research and quality improvement/assurance projects. Specifically, I am interested in designing tools for describing and comparing patients' history of interacting with the service system.

At the Integrative Analysis of Longitudinal Studies of Aging (IALSA) research network I design and implement reproducible solutions for coordinating replications of statistical analyses across longitudinal studies of aging (Hofer & Piccinin, 2009)
