I set up an English School with a sustainability curriculum in Harau, West Sumatra, right after finishing my master's degree in Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. I ran the school by myself for the first six months and then directed ten employees, six interns, and twelve international volunteers. The school has been developing since day one and has educated 1800 young people with English, global issues, and sustainability. Thanks to:■ International Studies Club, which is also a global-issues-based organization that I chaired and created with my colleagues;■ Several youth-led organizations that I had involved in;■ Various national and international companies and non-profit organizations that I had worked for;■ All institutions that sponsored my international training, conferences, and education;They have made it a lot easier for me to organize and direct the school. All hands-on experiences equipped me with: Project Management, Organization Design, Management Strategy, Sustainable Development, Qualitative and Quantitative Research, Teaching and Public Speaking, Entrepreneurship, Business and Administration, Accounting and Finance, Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel, Website, SEO Strategies, Social Media Management, Marketing (including Google Analytics and Facebook Adsense), and Content Building and Journalism (video, poster, writing on social media and blog) with Content Management System like Blogspot, WordPress, and SalesForce.I always find time to explore the world and meet new people. I have visited 27 countries and hundreds of cities and villages so far, and 80% of the trip was as a solo traveler. I keep counting.
