Estonian State Fleet is a centre for maritime competence and innovation, dedicated to developing and managing state-owned vessels, navigation signals, and piloting services; committed to leading the way in novel approaches to fleet management, the transition to green fuels and sustainable technologies in the maritime sector. I am a member of the core staff (start-up team) and contributed to the establishment and development of the new agency (Estonian State Fleet ), which started full-scale work on 01.07.2023.

Provision of management systems (QHSE) training, consulting and audits (subcontractor-auditor at Bureau Veritas since March 2023).

Started as Sales Manager (B2B, about 700 clients). Certification Department Manager and Technical Manager since 01.01.2016.I was responsible for effective operation of main business activity which was auditing and certification of organizations management systems (quality, environment, health & safety etc.). I leaded a team of 30 persons (full time employees + subcontractors).In managerial role I performed various tasks: preparing a budget, setting measurable goals and monitoring results, ensuring effective and high-quality work culture, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (accreditation), selection and recruitment of employees, employees’ development, performance interviews, change management, development of new services, management of sales processes and customer relations, etc. Lead Auditor for management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.Quality Management System lecturer in Tallinn Technical University.Due to the enormous audit and managerial experience, my main strength is ability to understand the business of different companies, to see a “large picture “and to find areas for improvement.

Pakterminal is the tank terminal mainly engaged in storing and (un)loading oil products on or from tankers, railtankcars and tank-lorrys. I was SHEQ-manager and responsible for safety, health, environment and quality issues and for management system implementation, which was certified by DNV (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

Working at different companies within ESCO (Estonian Shipping Company) Group: ESCO Merenduse OÜ, Tschudi & Eitzen ESCO Ship Management, Estonian Shipping Company. Starting as navigator – 3rd officer on different type of cargo ships and 2nd officer on Tallink passenger ferries.ISM specialist/auditor since Nov, 1997. My main duties as ISM specialist/auditor:Implementing safety management system (ashore + vessels) according to ISM Code. Performing internal safety management system audits.

Specialist of Coast Guard Department (Search and Rescue operations etc). Completed SAR Coordinator course in Sweden (duration 1 month) and International Maritime Officer Course in US Coast Guard Reserve Training Center, Virginia, USA (duration 3,5 months).

3rd officer on dry-cargo ship Pihtla. Sailing area: Baltic Sea, North Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Indian Ocean.
