In 2020, after obtaining the POLE'S CARD, I moved from Russia to Poland, where I obtained a PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT. I didn't see any prospects for myself in my hometown of Murmansk, so I decided to learn the Polish language and make a radical change in my life by moving to Poland. While working at the library in Murmansk, I came across a Python programming language textbook. The book captivated me, and I wrote several simple programs in Python based on it. This textbook helped me realize that I wanted to study programming in Poland, and I chose the "Applied Informatics" direction at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. There, I had the additional opportunity to meet students from different countries and improve my Polish and English language skills.Reflecting on my childhood and youth, I realized that I had constantly been exposed to programming languages. In school, I studied Basic and QBasic, undertook a project to create my website using HTML and CSS, and later completed a Delfi course using TurboPascal. In university, I studied JavaScript, C, C++, C#, SQL, and Java. An additional Java course at the university showed me that I was deeply interested in this programming language, prompting me to delve into it beyond the scope of practical classes. Additionally, I enrolled in a year-long JavaRush (CodeGym) course, where I studied Java Core, Multithreading, Exceptions, etc.Gradually, the time came to choose my first pet project, and I decided on a web application to help me manage my finances. This became a personal challenge for me - to have a specially designed application that fully suited my needs. Practically, it also helped me learn Java and related technologies, such as Spring, Spring Security, REST API. For instance, one of my achievements was organizing secure information exchange between the client and server parts of the web application using JSON Web Token (JWT). Understanding its principles and implementing it took me several days. Each time I encounter such challenges, it becomes evident to me that I enjoy tackling them, finding solutions, and experimenting with combinations. Now, I am fully convinced that I want to develop in the field of programming. I aim to progress from a junior to a senior programmer.
