I have been working with critical systems design, implementation, and delivery for more than 20 years. In the beginning of my carrier I focused on systematic model-based design of such systems, including formal analysis and synthesis methods for building dependable systems.In the next phase of my carrier I focused on implementing the results of my research in a specific application domain (automotive). I have been the SW architect for a domain-specific design, configuration, and analysis tool chain, supporting the implementation of safe SW systems based on the AUTOSAR framework.I have spent the past few years with building up a large-scale R&D center with 1200+ engineers working on automotive product delivery. Over the years we have been able to continuously increase both capacity and competency level of our team, and were successfully delivering several systems to our customers. As we were progressing with building the delivery organization, it became more and more clear that we cannot be competitive without adopting the latest methods, tools, and processes, therefore we started a major transformation to create an agile delivery organization that uses the most recent software engineering achievements to provide continuous delivery for the customers while maintaining our high safety and quality standards.
