My responsibilities include designing and developing business interfaces for clients in the accounting, auditing & publishing industries, through Ovitas North America. I work together with a team of Java developers, locally with some, remotely with others. I participate in planning & designing web applications, both visually and architecturally. I build user interfaces with TypeScript, Java, HTML5 & SCSS. I use React + Redux, Mithril, jQuery and various other frameworks in creating SPAs & traditional web applications. I develop Node.js tools to aid our workflows. My DTP skills came in useful when developing a DITA XML to Adobe InDesign conversion workflow. I also supervise and educate junior designers / developers.

My responsibilities included designing and developing interactive product showcase applications for online and offline use (kiosk & disc); creating, rigging, lighting and animating 3D models to illustrate product use and to create video ads; and also DTP work to create product packaging, illustrations and marketing materials. I developed the applications using Adobe Flash & Flex with a touch of MDM Zinc, reading content from XML, supporting multiple languages including Chinese and Arabic on occasion. I developed web sites in PHP and MySQL. I created CGI in 3ds Max, batch rendered them on a small render farm, then processed them in Adobe After Effects. I used the Adobe Creative Suite for DTP work.
