I have spent the twenty years with the analysis of legal English terminology and language. The intensive study of the jurisprudence of both common law and civil law helps me to understand the intricacies of the subject. Lawyers operating in civil law countries around the world need to use English legal terminology for concepts based on Roman civil law. This often leads to misunderstanding due to the differences between the two systems. My mission is to assist practitioners of law and other related fields to use correct terminology and to draft legal documents which satisfy the most exacting demands of their client.I have also presented talks at conferences including 2013 Prague BESIG Annual Conference, 2013 Ulm IATET Biennal Conference, 2014 Graz BESIG Summer Symposium, 2014 Warwick EULETA Annual Conference, 2014 Bonn BESIG Annual Conference.
