• Contribution to a research aimed to identify metabolites of neonicotinoids and characterization of their chemical/ecotoxicological effects. • Development of an early-sensitive toolset able to reveal anthropogenically sourced stress to aquatic biota of Lake Balaton, particularly to develop a set of baseline values for biomarkers in indicator species, and to characterize the variability of these parameters, using bioindicators of energy reserves, biomarkers of effect and individual condition index. Issues considered are: evaluation of linkages between biomarkers and physico-chemical stress; persistence of stress symptoms; reversibility of biomarkers, and evaluation of integrated biomarker indexes as habitat descriptors and health status ranking tools. Correspondingly my main task are: • Performing and evaluating standard ecotoxicological tests and biomarker assays on neonicotinoids and their metabolites using non-target aquatic macroinvertebrates. • Evaluation of individual biomarkers, general condition, and incidence of physico-chemical stress in signaling biota • Evaluation of the quality of bed sediments collected on site: toxicity, toxicant bioavailability, toxic mechanisms of action (MoA) • Integration of biomarker datasets in BRI, classification and performance evaluation as synthetic score of biota quality status.

• Scientific communication manager of the international (IT, AUT, PL, HU) EuLakes (European Lakes Under Environmental Stressors; www.eulakes.eu) project in Hungary. o Internal and external communication between projectpartners, local authorities, first- and second level controllers, and media representatives. o Support of the scientific work by defining significant goals and scheduling tasks.o Contribution to budget planning / utilization / reallocation. o Organization of scientific and press conferences, project meetings, and steering committee meetings.o Preparing of progress and financial reports, and justification of expenditures.• Participating in the research work of the department on the topic ecotoxicology, contribution in impact assessment of anthropogenic pollutants (e.g. urban aerosols, wastewaters) and natural products (e.g. cyanobacterial toxins). • Responsible for laboratory practices for students in aquatic ecotoxicology.• Supervisor and consultant of MSc and BSc students by their diploma works.
