André Passos is a Brazilian architect graduated with a Master of Science in Architectural Design and History from Politecnico di Milano. He is currently working for Falcão de Campos He graduated from his BArch degree at Pontifical University of Rio de Janeiro in 2015. During his Bachelor studies, he worked as a teaching assistant in core design studios and technical drawing disciplines.In the end of the year 2015, he presented his BArch thesis “Endosmose Urbana” (developed under the guidance of Ana Paula Polizzo), available at:.The Bachelor thesis received maximum vote, was nominated for the 27th Opera Prima Prize (equivalent to the national Archiprix) and was presented to younger students in the following years.As an intern, he worked at CAMPO, M+T Arquitetura and Angelica Coutinho in Rio de Janeiro and at Falcao de Campos in Lisbon, the latter having received a grant to undergo the International training program of the Polo Territoriale di Mantova (Politecnico di Milano).After the graduation, he took part as a research assistant for the development of the discipline Space and Thought under the tutoring of the Professor Lígia Saramago and worked as an independent architect.In 2020, he presented his Master thesis “Possibilities of an elastic patio” (developed under the guidance of Angelo Lorenzi and Sebastiano Marconcini, also with maximum vote), available at:Portfolio available at:
