The ID.GOV.PT apps allow a citizen to have a digital version of their personal cards, such as drivers license, citizenship card, their car documentation, employee card, military cards, and many others. For some cards that have aditional info, you are able to look it up online through the app. The app also allows the user to share their cards with other people through their CMD account or through a QRCode. It is also possible to print a pdf file that is signed by AMA, (making it a verified 'copy' of the card), with all the information on the card. Maintaining the AUTENTICACAO.GOV app, mobile only, and added 2 new useful features that allow a citizen to create/modify their 'Chave Móvel Dígital' (CMD) and activate their Citizen Card (CC). The AUTENTICACAO.GOV app allows a citizen to create and/or modify their CMD, activate their digital signature (which allows them to sign documents with their own signature online), activate their citizenship card when created or renewed and also manage their pending authorizations that require their CMD, along with a full history of their uses.
