Head manager of an O&M team of three hydropower plants (530 MW of installed capacity, 520 of them on pump-storage facilities), implementing the best practices in order to maximize operational and financial results in a dynamic and demanding market context.- Lead and inspire an eight members team to perform at unprecedented performance levels (>1000 TWh of yearly electricity production, >98% of unit’s availability rate, >99% successful unit’s start rate)- Coordinate the study that led to the realignment of the maintenance strategy of electricity production units (1,77 M€ of savings in a 25 years span)- Operational role in the digital transformation project of EDP Produção business (15 M€ of the overall project budget)

Field engineer, with a clear focus on performance optimization of the electricity production units, on a combined scenario of existing plants exploitation (operation and maintenance activities) and new hydropower plant (project, supervision and commissioning activities).- Project design, construction supervision and commissioning engineer on Alqueva II hydropower plant project (190 M€ of investment, 260 MW of installed capacity, strategic part of the largest investment plan of hydropower made in Europe), in a multidisciplinary and international environment.- Headed the operational team that performed RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) project to redefine the maintenance strategy of the production units, allowing for operational savings and team knowledge development which indirectly led to an increase of technical and economic performance.- Implementation of viable solutions to operational challenges by conducting root cause analysis and integrating improvements (LEAN) throughout inefficient operational steps of the production process (12 solutions implemented from 2010-2016 with an estimated economic impact of 245 k€/year in savings).- Pioneered a groundbreaking energy production project in the Iberian market (floating photovoltaic system), through the development of a feasibility study, design and technical specification of the pilot project (450 k€ of investment, 200 kW of installed capacity, 320 MWh of electricity production in the first year.
