I am Andrés Gonzalez Blanco, a second-year International Relations student at the University of the Republic. Currently, I am enhancing my knowledge and gaining experience in international affairs through an internship at the International Affairs Unit of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries.As the General Coordinator of the OIDEF Project (Organization of Internationalists and Diplomats in Training), I have led initiatives aimed at promoting student engagement and learning in diplomacy and international relations..My passion for the field is evident through my active participation in various extracurricular activities. I have had the privilege of being part of organizing academic events with the embassies of China, Israel, Palestine, Türkiye, Armenia, and Mexico in Uruguay.My work in civil rights advocacy has allowed me to expand my knowledge and champion social action, showcasing my commitment to positive change in my community.I possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities.
