Andrés Jaime is a Sub-Portfolio Manager and Quantitative Researcher specializing in systematic and discretionary EM & G10 strategies, currently at Bluecrest Capital in Miami.Previously, Andrés held a similar position at Capstone Investment Advisors in New York. He also spent five years at Morgan Stanley as Head of Global Macro Quant & FXEM Volatility Strategy and LatAm Macro Strategy, earning multiple top rankings in the Institutional Investor Fixed Income Survey, including Analyst of the Year in 2020 and 2021.Andrés began his career at Banxico, the Central Bank of Mexico, managing asset allocation, FX, and commodities trading, as well as implementing monetary policy. He later worked at Barclays on G10 and LatAm markets research.Andrés contributes to Reforma and El Financiero in Mexico and has lectured in finance and econometrics at ITAM. He holds an M.A. in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University, a Graduate Certificate in Machine Learning from Cornell University, and a B.A. in Economics from ITAM.
