I’m Colombian, have lived in Madrid, Spain, for 1.5 years, and have professional experience in recruitment consulting, technology, and start-up industries. I’m studying at IE University, pursuing an MBA degree and an MS in Business Analytics & Big Data.I have always been interested in entrepreneurship. In 2014, while doing my undergrad, I organized the only large format soccer fair in Colombia (FutbolXpo), which attracted 40+ sponsoring brands, coverage of 10 national media channels, and 10,000+ assistants. In addition, I organized the Latin American’s 3rd Freestyle Soccer Tournament, where more than 100 athletes from all over Latin America participated.When I finished my undergrad, I started working in the Headhunter Michael Page as an intern in the Human Resources Division, 6 months later, I became Supply Chain & Procurement Division Analyst, and 6 months later, I was promoted to Supply Chain & Procurement Division Consultant. I also led recruitment processes from a consulting perspective and established strategic relations, mainly in the logistics and supply chain industry. As a result of my performance, in 2018, I was the 3rd employee with the most hired candidates and reached US $67.500 in revenue. Following this experience, I started working in a marketplace start-up called Savy as a B2B Business Developer where I defined the company’s B2B product and scope through market research, developed and implemented the B2B sales channel, and in Q1 of 2020, increased by 18% the usage of Savy’s service.More recently, I worked at a technology company called Beetrack as a Business Developer. I searched and prospected new clients, developed business strategies, and looked for long-term strategic alliances through a consultative sale, negotiation, and a monthly analysis of individual results. At Beetrack, I managed a portfolio of 16 clients and an MRR of US $14,300. I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English. I always have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. I’m great at teamwork, disciplined, perseverant, and always seeking continuous improvement. I also have demonstrated expertise in event organization, have experience integrating business with data, and have good analytical and creative problem-solving competencies.
