Verification of new features in Ericsson’s cell-site-router products (SIU/TCU). Responsible for verification of features: Bi-Directional Forwarding Detection (BFD), Policy Based Routing (PBR), Jumbo Frames, IPv6 etc. Testing has involved lots of work with real radio nodes for 2G, 3G, LTE and IP based RAN transmission nodes in large end-to-end environments. Large part of testing work has been to configure and troubleshoot large test environments. This has given good hands-on experience from Ericsson’s radio products and Cisco, Extreme Networks products for routing/switching.Test script development using Expect, Linux Shell scripts and Perl. Broad range of experience from different load generators for IP networks and mobile networks, such as Agilent N2X/Ixia, Ericsson TSS, etc.FOA support and problem solving at the premises of the customer has been part of the assignment.
