• Provide advanced IT desktop support for 260+ staff members including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational software, hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance;• Troubleshoot system issues and problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via work order) in a timely and accurate fashion, and providing end-user assistance and performing upgrades and repairs where required;• Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices• Supervise staff of two employees involved in managing, maintaining, installing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing PCs, Macs, tablets, and other portable devices used by staff members;• Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to implement desktop and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet University requirements;• Anticipate, mitigate, identify, and correct hardware and software issues on servers, escalating incidents as needed;• Manage vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure software products and services;• Provide training on various software used within the department;• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot 18 virtual and physical servers with Windows Server operating systems;• Install Windows and MAC OS using available imaging technique/software;• Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment;• Coordinate maintenance of IT inventory database or property control of PCs and/or MACs;• Develop documentation and procedures for IT Services;• Maintain and provide support on C-CURE 9000 Access Control and Video Surveillance (Genetec Security Center;• Manage content for department website (ColdFusion scripts, WordPress, HTML) and digital displays.
