Over the more than 20 years of my IT career, I've been involved at some level in just about every area: management, cloud, datacenters, virtualization, applications, databases, hardware, storage, networking, security, compliance, development, IaC, CI/CD, end-user devices, administration, support, disaster recovery, automation and orchestration, IAM, vendor relations, budgeting, project management, consulting, and I'm sure there are more.My point in listing all of those things? I have a lot of very broad experience to offer, and I am very flexible. I love to learn new things and get excited when a novel problem is presented where I need to build a new skill.My passion is for connecting people and accomplishing our combined goals together. I fill gaps in process, procedure, role, and technology where I see them, learning whatever is necessary to smooth the way forward as best I can. I mentor and encourage those around me to be their best, and to grow in their own passions. I will do the right thing, because it’s the right thing, to the best of my ability. I am organized, thorough, and detail oriented. I am open, honest, and transparent with my team and leadership. I make a point to present a calm demeanor, especially in stressful or chaotic situations. I strive for continuous improvement in what I do and encourage the same from those around me.I've worked with several teams that became like family and look forward to doing so again.
