Andy Allen, President & OwnerMr. Allen believes in when leaders shift their mindset and serve first, they benefit as well as their employees in that their employees acquire personal growth, while the organization grows as well due to the employees growing commitment and engagement. Mr. Allen received his Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice Administration. Andy’s experience includes over thirty years of both proprietary and contract security management. During the course of his career, Andy has served in many capacities including operations, management, administration and sales. Andy serves as President and Owner of United Protective overseeing the day to day sales and operations of all seven offices in Texas and Oklahoma. During the last twenty plus years, he has led United Protective to become one of the fastest growing contract security firms in the United States. Mr. Allen is a participant in Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Real Estate Managers (IREM), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), International Facility Managers Association (IFMA), and International Council for Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Houston Apartment Association (HAA) and the Community Association Institute (CAI). Andy served on the Houston BOMA Board of Directors as Allied Professional Representative from 2011-2013. In 2012, he was recepient of the Allied Professional Member of the Year by Houston BOMA. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for Crime Stoppers of Houston.
