Andrew has over 23 years’ experience in the construction industry having worked for consultants, on secondment in client organisations, and for major contractors in a broad range of roles including project manager, project engineer, quantity surveyor and advisor. Andrew’s experience includes major rail construction projects in Australia including Sydney Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Clearways Program and Epping Chatswood Rail Link; and the Docklands Light Railway in the United Kingdom.Andrew has recently been working on the Sydney Metro City & Southwest Project, where he managed the Sydenham Station and Junction (SSJ) package through to award with the Incentivised Target Cost Contract. Previous experience includes other innovative transaction processes including Northern Beaches Hospital Roadworks and M5 West Widening. Andrew has broad range of experience in procurement and transaction management roles on complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on rail and road.Previously Andrew has worked for two contracting organisations including the delivery of a major project for the Docklands Light Railway in east London. This experience included the commercial management of the rail systems elements for this project. Additionally this allows Andrew to understand the drivers and management of contracting organisations, which is particularly relevant to this role. Andrew has a strong background managing and working within multi-disciplinary teams including managing key service providers on the Sydney Metro Project.
