I am originally from Hutchinson KS and Nixa MO. In my free time I enjoy playing TTRPGs like Dungeons and Dragons and textual analysis of political and theological theory. My Bachelor's Degree is in Social Work (Park University) and I am 60% of the way through my Master's Degree in Data Analytics (NWMSU). I am passionate about building resilient communities that are equipped to care for all members. My main areas of focus are housing and destigmatizing mental health and substance use.I currently work as the Program Manager for Footprints Inc at Turning Point, a 10 bed residential case management program that provides transitional living to men in recovery from substance use. At Turning Point, I am responsible for many things including:-management of program employees and day-to-day operations-compliance with industry standards -adherence to local, state, and federal law-bookkeeping for the agency as a whole. I handle these responsibilities all while ever seeking to improve current services and expand offerings. This work brings me in close contact with many people including:-clients-mental health care professionals-substance use recovery service providers-law enforcement-court officials-medical staff-community members-administrators for non-profits, for-profits, and governmental agencies-political officesMaintaining these relationships is essential to my work.Once my master's degree is complete (est Aug of 2024), I hope to combine my data analysis skills with my passion for social services and bring powerful business tools to smaller non-profits in pursuit improving efficiency and impact.
