As an experienced Graphic Designer I grabbed the opportunity of being one of the first UK Wix website designers back in 2013.​A successful business manager for a large American bank, I made a brave career change away from sales and into marketing in 2007.BACK TO SCHOOLI picked up an LCCI Distinction in Digital Design, Marketing, and Advertising from Hove College. I'd been in sales for 15 years and the creative me wanted to see if I could take my skill set into a digital world. Gaining the Distinction gave me the belief that I could make a career in marketing and design.THE BIG WIDE MARKETING WORLDSince college I've held a number of marketing/web devlopment posts in my native Sussex and used that experience to give small businesses a foothold on the internet.Two of the larger companies I worked for had virtually no marketing budget, so I really had to think creatively to get brand recognition and increase web traffic. This has helped me understand, in a number of ways, how best to set up a brand, especially in small business.BITING THE BULLETAfter freelancing my fledgling web design business for a number of years I started WixWorks in 2013 and have been designing websites ever since.Wix.com has long been a mainstream web development product in the USA but now have a real foothold in the UK and that is borne out by the fact that Wixworks Ltd has doubled it's growth year on year.THE FUTURE IS BLACK AND YELLOW We are concentrating on building affordable websites as our core business but almost as important are those clients who have a poorly laid out, glitchy Wix website. We encourage our clients to pass their website over to WixWorks to manage, leaving them to concentrate on their businesses, it's a win-win.
