As Group Managing Director of Empowered Group of companies I lean on over 20 years of successful military and commercial experience.After successfully exiting the group of companies I founded, grew and led over a 10 years, I am now focussed on helping create the best SSAS and wider investment community in the UK. I am at the head of a very exciting period for Empowered Group. In addition, I am a multi award winning professional landlord, investor and property developer with almost two decades of experience and a deep understanding of how to manage risk to improve profitability for my clients. I have built my framework for success by intelligently understanding and exploiting risk. As an ex-Army Bomb Disposal Officer with an MSc is in Risk Management I understand risk better than most. I left the Army in 2009 and moved into commercial defence risk management in the United Arab Emirates until making the leap into full time property in 2012. I have 3 sons, Max, Louis and Rafferty and am an active congregation member at St Peters Church Brighton. I am also a keen triathlete and ultra-endurance athlete, as well as a Team GB AG representative at Triathlon and Aquathlon I have finished in the top 10% in the Marathon des Sables and completed dozens of adventure races around the world. I am a PADI Divemaster and BSAC Advanced Diver.
