I am Highways Discipline lead for SYSTRA UK Engineering. I twenty one years of post graduate experience. In 2008 I achieved chartered status through the Institution of Civil Engineers.I'm currently working on the HS2 Main Works Civils Contract with BBV. I have worked on a wide range of transportation, highways and drainage projects from commercial to residential and trunk roads to streets for the private sector.2015 is an exciting year of diverse projects and plenty of work. We are assisting on city centre projects in Birmingham, following on from our work on the Snow Hill Interchange Plan in 2014. Wolverhampton Interchange is progressing with the rebirth of the Rail Station and the expansion of the car park. We are continuing to work in the residential sector in both planning and detailed design. Recent project highlights: 2 Cornwall Street and 3 Snow Hill - Planning permission has been granted on these two Birmingham City Centre Projects. These office projects are further evidence that growth has returned to Birmingham.I recently appeared as an expert witness on a residential scheme public inquiry, in Northamptonshire. The transportation elements were challenging but the result was in favour of our client.Our engineering team recently received technical approval for the Hawkes Meadow scheme in Warwick.
