Team Leader of the Mechanical Simulation Department. My team and I carry out CAE simulation analyses of mechanical components, assemblies and systems on the Formula 1 powertrain (internal combustion engine and energy recovery systems). My team research and develop new measurement technologies to utilise on the F1 power unit. The measurements we make aid understanding of the behaviour and characteristics of the power unit and provide data to correlate simulations.
