Working with CDI, as a Quality Specialist, delivering Restorative Practice training to various stakeholders, including a number of schools in Munster. Also providing supports to staff teams developing RP within their schools, including demonstrating and facilitating RP interventions, on site and supporting RP implementation.Facilitation of Train the Trainer courses for new trainers with CDI. Collaborating on the EU Erasmus + TReP project, co-designing and writing material for an EQF Level 5, (QQI Level 6) online course, in Restorative Practice for professionals.

The idea of RP Bearnú, (which means 'Breakthrough' in Irish,) is to provide a range of restorative services to providers from the Community, Voluntary and Statutory sectors, along with tailored services to private organisations and businesses.Those services include;* Training courses on various aspects of Restorative Practice and the assessment of trainers* Coaching, Mentoring and Supervision * Restorative Personal and Team Development workshops. * Managing and supervising restorative interventions, to tackle issues around school, home and work-place bullying, racism, inter-personal conflict and other behaviour that has caused harm between people.I also tutor on a part-time basis and have provided a highly effective facilitation service for more than 20 years, with experience and a particular interest in working with people who find it difficult to progress ideas or engage with services.

Managed, supervised and mentored a team of core staff, 3rd Level Students on Placement, volunteers, various other sessional workers and therapists, providing interventions and supports to retain Target Students at risk of Early School Leaving, within the five DEIS schools that make up the SCP na Siuire cluster in Waterford City and South Kilkenny.Prepared, delivered and/or managed of a number of targeted interventions including, 1:1 and Mentoring Supports with Target Students, some with Learning Disabilities and/or on the Autistic Spectrum, work with parents and their families, Personal Development Programmes, including “Roots of Empathy” "7 Habits for Effective Teenagers" and an ACCESS After-School Programme with WIT.Facilitated Restorative Practice interventions, circles, conferences and training in all SCP na Siuire schools and other organisations in Waterford City and County. (Co-founder of Waterford Restorative Practice Network.)Prepared Annual Retention Plans for funding and review reports for TUSLA and the Management Committee. Efficiently managed the SCP na Siuire budget.Compiled statistics and maintained databases relating to attendance and retention of Target Students throughout the SCP na Siuire cluster.

Managed a team Tracking and Mentoring Early School Leavers, (ESL) in Waterford City, County and South Tipperary and, through guidance, mentoring support and the facilitation of Gateway Programmes, assisted in their progression on to work, training or further education. Prepared & Managed the Pathways budget and the efficient running of the project and team, including the compilation of progress and annual reports for funders.Co-established, developed and supported a number of ESL initiatives in Waterford, including, the now mainstreamed Training Centre for Young Travellers, (The SUBLA Centre,) the Job-Sampling Initiative (JSI,) for difficult to progress ESL and the XLC Project.Provided supervision, Line Management and appraisal of Pathways staff and the Co-ordinators of The SUBLA Centre (2003–07) and the JSI (2006-2010.)

Devised and facilitated core and specialist training courses on a variety of Learning (Intellectual) Disability issues, particularly around behaviour that challenged staff.Liaised and negotiated with Service Providers to analyse and meet training requirements.Facilitated a variety of coaching programmes with staff in Health, Social and Voluntary services and consulting and working with families.As Acting Manager (08/96 - 04/97) * Negotiated contracts with Health Purchasers.* Oversaw responsibility for a large departmental budget.* Supervised staff within the team.* Initiated and implemented new ideas within the organisation.

I undertook various positions during these years from acting/devising in the Glory What Glory Theatre Company on graduation, (for 2 years,) to working with construction companies, to being a delivery driver.
