About Andy Beane, Pe

I have worked as a mechanical engineer since 2007, and for the last 17 years I have been leading multi-discipline MEP engineering teams. My experience has included full involvement in all phases of the design process, engineering construction administration, and commissioning. I enjoy managing and mentoring junior engineers, fostering strong technical backgrounds, and helping individuals grow into excellent leaders and engineers! Projects that I have engaged in throughout my career have ranged from healthcare applications to higher education and office spaces for government and private sector clients.I specialize in hydronic system design including ground and surface-water coupled geothermal heat pump systems. Some of my favorite office discussions are nerding out with design teams about psychrometric analysis, thermal comfort design and mean radiant temperature effects, underfloor air distribution and displacement ventilation, and radiant heating and cooling system design.
