I serve as a Business Researcher for Advance Iowa at the University of Northern Iowa. My primary role is to assist small businesses in the Cedar Valley and throughout Iowa with their customized market research needs, while assisting with project management and client consultation. Prior to my role with Advance Iowa, I worked in the manufacturing sector at Highway Equipment Company in Cedar Rapids, and in various management positions throughout the Midwest with BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Baxter Healthcare Corporation. I have extensive experience with generating corrective and preventative measures for handling non-conformances and conducted a number of successful process improvement projects in my previous employment. I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and enjoy giving back to the local community. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in administrative management in 2013 from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, and I obtained my MBA at the University of Northern Iowa in August 2015 following the completion of an extensive capstone project in consulting.
