I have 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. Two of those years were in public accounting at Deloitte. I started off preparing and analyzing financial statements and budgets early in my career, while advancing my skills in Excel. My skills in Excel and understanding of business operations were deeply enhanced when I was responsible for preparing a 5 year projection model in order to acquire a $250 million revolver loan. After realizing the power of data automation, I learned how to program in various languages such as VBA, Python, SQL, and I started developing BI interfaces in which the accounting, finance, and sales department can use to obtain data information faster and intuitively. Still feeling like I can do more with data to help a company grow, I obtained a certificate in Data Science and learned how develop various machine learning models in which a company can use to potentially increase revenue and decrease expenses.
