Employed as contract Instrument & Controls Engineer on BP Valhall Redevelpment Project, responsibilities included system design & specification, selection of components, review and input to package instrumentation, management of specific sub-contractors, providing multi-disciplined support to HVAC systems, Firefighting Packages (Watermist, Sprinkler & Deluge), Helifuel Package, Potable Water System (Pumps, Tanks, Potable Water Makers, Chlorine Dosing, Alkalising Filters, UV Sterilisation, Calorifiers & Distribution etc)

Responsible for managing a the UK office of Anzett involving office administration, producing detailed commercial & technical proposals, procurement, project engineering, project management and sales and marketing activities.

Responsible for receiving customer enquiries for Subsea Control Systems for major Subsea Projects and engineering / costing the technical proposal involving working closely with other company departments (xmas trees, manifolds, installation/intervention etc) to design, develop and offer optimum solutions.

Responsible for receiving enquiries for both hydraulic (HPU's, WCP's, WOCS etc) and chemical injection packages on major Oil & Gas projects and producing bespoke designs, costings, comprehesive commercial & technical proposal package.Post bid submittal activities included attendance of bid clarification meetings, handover to projects, project support & close out.

Responsible for a very busy department dealing with technical support, provision of spare parts and coordination amd management of installation, commissioning and maintenance activities.

Working in a multi skilled engineering environment serving various industries including food and oil & gas primarily as fitter / machinist but deployed in other areas (fabrication, sheetmetal, electrical) frequently when workload dictated.
