Use a variety of testing equipment and software tools to diagnose and resolve computer problems. Install and configure computer systems including physical installation, configuration and testing of medical applications; new devices or relocation of existing devices. Participate in the creation and testing of standard application images for use in physical and virtual machines. Maintain asset and inventory database(s) ensuring that databases accurately reflect purchase, distribution, installation, configuration and relocation of hardware/software assets. Provide first and second level desktop technical support to other IS analysts. Manage tasks using Service Desk process and related tools. Interface with vendors, business partners and users as necessary.

I currently provide technical troubleshooting and support for computer hardware, software, operating systems and network infrastructure with a commitment to quality, service and defined service level agreements. As a Service Desk Analyst, I work very closely with all Information Systems Analysts and management, Mary Washington Healthcare leadership, and computer system users and vendors. As a Service Desk Analyst I have to be knowledgeable of the systems in order to correctly investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with hardware or software using telephonic and remote access capabilities.
