I have worked in the Health and Social Care Sector for the past 26 years. During this time I have worked in a variety of setting within Statutory Services, running Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Drug Services, through to running, managing and delivering growth in multi million pound Voluntary and Independent Sector Provider Services. I have a keen interested in Mental Health conditions and presentation, and maintain my Approved Mental Health Practitioner/Clinician role. I have always strived for excellence and this was acknowledged when we won two prestigious Health and Care Awards. I have always felt passionate about working with People with Disabilities, and this is reflected in my role of Voluntary Director of People First Merseyside, a post I have held since 2007.
