I started a consultancy business with a focus on composites, fiber sizings and waterborne dispersions in 2015. Previously, as the Global Technology and New Business Development Manager for Fibers and Composites at Michelman, Inc. I managed an international group of research chemists as well as new product development and production of Hydrosize® sizings products for this business segment. As the co-founder of Hydrosize®Technologies, Inc. I developed 20+ commercially available sizings under the Hydrosize® trademark with 10 Patents and over 8 publications related to polymer synthesis, properties and composites. Prior to co-founding Hydrosize® Technologies, Inc., I was Manager, Applications Development in the Composites Business Unit of Reichhold, Inc. Previous to joining Reichhold, Inc., I was a Senior Research Chemist at Eastman Chemical, Inc. in the Performance Plastics Business Organization. In this capacity I developed fiber reinforced thermoplastic formulations for the electrical / electronic markets. I received my Ph.D. as part of the National Science Foundation Center for High Performance Adhesives and Composites at Virginia Tech.
