We can offer a wide range of services which are registered with the Legionella Control Association providing the client with peace of mind in the quality of service delivered.The Health and Safety Executives Approved Code of Practice(L8) recommends that a risk assessment should be carried out on water systems, where there is deemed to be a foreseeable risk of proliferation and exposure to Legionella bacteria. It is important for clients to ensure a high quality risk assessment is provided to identify all associated risks and that full compliance is achieved with HSE’s ACoP L8/HSG 274.At GENEX we pride ourselves on the quality of our risk assessments and recognise that any control strategy adopted is based on the findings of such a document. We therefore believe that thetime and effort we dedicate to our risk assessments yields both confidence from our clients and ensures a thorough and effective control strategy for future years. In order to maintain the quality of our risk assessments all of our engineers are independently trained to at least City and Guilds and have at least three years experience of risk assessing.The quality of service delivered by any contractor is paramount within the water management industry as the risk associated with legionella control predominantly lies with the employer or person who creates the risk and can not be delegated to the contractor. Any client therefore needs to have confidence in the level of service provided. GENEX provide an independent audit and verification service in which all procedures and documentation is checked for compliance with the relevant legislation. This high end consultancy service is provided by one of our Chartered Engineers and allows any client to identify any shortfall in their current service provision.
