  Andy Bromley: • After a career in the Royal Air Force Andy worked for Lloyds Bank in Peterborough as security manager of their national data centre where he set up one of the UK’s first remote video monitoring operations.In 1996 with his brother Paul he founded Farsight Surveillance Technologies, one of the UK’s first commercial remote video monitoring alarm receiving centres and the first to gain accreditation to BS5979 Cat II. In 2000 Farsight moved into a purpose built 10,000 sq ft alarm receiving centre, which Andy designed and oversaw construction of, to accommodate the expanding business, again achieving accreditation to BS5979 Cat II.After leaving Farsight he worked as a retained adviser to Reliance Security Services where in 2002 he undertook a three month study of the remote video monitoring market-place visiting remote video monitoring stations and Town Centre CCTV control rooms throughout the UK. Thereafter he was retained as lead consultant to Reliance for the design and construction of their new BS5979 Cat II Alarm Receiving Centre in Pontefract. Subsequently he has consulted to a number of established security businesses; including The Shield Manned Guarding Company; P&R Fire and Security for the design, certification, management and development of their remote video monitoring alarm receiving centre; a number of Town Centre CCTV control room operations including Winchester, Alton and Stoke-on-Trent; Sony where he, conducted feasibility studies in Tokyo for the establishment of a remote video alarm receiving centre; MITIE on the feasibility and accreditation of their Euro Hub alarm receiving centre in Northern Ireland; and Knight Frank in respect of their remote video surveillance of trophy buildings, including 30 St Mary Axe – The Gherkin in the City of London._________________
